Huck's Lost Mine

We took our 6, 9, 10, and 16 year old here and it was a great experience. Between everyone we shared the 3 gallon bucket. Mrs Pam made the experience even better with excitement of the kids finding gems and rocks and after we were done with our bucket the fun continued inside while cracking Geodes for each of the kids.

We came across this awesome little mine spot on Google and knew we needed to go to give a review. Well we are certainly glad we stopped in. This awesome spot is run by a great couple, wish we had gotten their names. They made us feel so important and made sure all our questions got answers. They were very attentive to details and every step through. We had a tired toddler with us, but they didn’t let that bother anyone, which we were thankful for. If we didn’t know what a stone was they would definitely find out the right answer. The whole experience from beginning to end was absolutely amazing!! From toddlers to adults to grandmas we all had a great girls day out in Blue Ridge. Highly recommend!! Look for the truck or you will miss it from the road! Can’t wait to go back again!! Thanks ag

Took our 3,5 & 10 year old here. Staff was pleasant and we enjoyed our visit. Sifting areas were well kept. Ordered their large buckets and got things from agates, ruby, fossils, shark teeth, citrines to even large emerald. Kids got to cut open geodes. Lots of trinkets and items to purchase in their store. Also, next door has cute animals you can walk over and check out. Highly recommend this family run business.

I would definitely come back. This place was definitely worth the money I got the $40 bag and my sister got the 20 and I would say both are well worth their value. The lady was so nice inside she even came out to check on our progress and inform us of what some crystals were.

We got the 3 lb bucket. My kids had a blast. It was fun to watch. The ladies working there were very nice and helpful. They were showing us what kind of stuff we found. We got a lot of rubies and we got some emerald. Even found a chuck of pyrite. At the end we cracked open a geode. That was fun too. The inside was so pretty. We had a great time and would definitely do it again!!
