Blue Pond Retreat

Highly recommend for a couples get away. The unique setup of a luxury wagon as a room was fun and comfy. The patio that comes with it is fully loaded with all creature comforts you need. It also is setup as a very romantic setting with perfect ambiance lighting. You cannot go wrong, nice pond, remote, romantic setup, firepit, blackstone to cook on, et, etc.. All you need is some food and ice and your are set. One of the best well setup clamping experiences I have had. Host is detailed and awesome.

You stay in real wagons!!!!! They’re way bigger than you’d expect. Inside is a king-size bed, a full bathroom, AC, and total privacy. No shared spaces, no awkward community bathrooms, just your own setup. Each wagon even has its own private gazebo. Perfect spot to eat, hang out, or just chill outside without anyone around. There’s a grill if you want to cook, a fire pit, and a pond on the property. The whole place is peaceful and quiet …. it forces you to slow down in the best way. Great for couples, or even a friend group if everyone books their own wagon. And honestly, shoutout to the owner…. she thought of every detail to make it comfortable and easy. We loved our stay!!!!

Our stay at Blue Pond Retreat was absolutely magical! Nestled on seven serene acres, this beautiful property offers the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern luxury. We stayed in one of the stunning covered wagon suites, complete with a king-size bed, private veranda, and thoughtful touches everywhere we looked. Each wagon has its own Blackstone grill and fire pit, making it easy to relax, cook, and enjoy peaceful evenings under the stars — which are breathtaking out here, thanks to the distance from city lights. The hosts Lisa & Bob were incredibly welcoming and attentive, going above and beyond to make sure our stay was comfortable. Even though this is the perfect romantic get away, I actually stayed with a group of lady friends and oh my! We had a blast. Bob and Lisa think of everything. Everything you need for your fire is included, your s’mores are included, your candle lights…included! Your throws for cool nights included, all the k cup flavors included. Must I go on. Blackstone grill with all the utensils are there. I’ve never stayed anywhere like this. And the novelty of staying in a luxury covered wagon, so much fun. Us ladies actually ate on beautiful Lake Conroe and then drove the short distance out to Blue Pond and strolled the property and just visited and relaxed before we built our fire. I assure you I will return time and time again and with my husband.

If you are looking for a unique, beautiful, peaceful place to escape to this is it!! My husband surprised me with a weekend stay here and it was amazing!! We enjoyed the quiet, relaxing environment. We enjoyed time sitting on the beautiful porch next to the wagon/cabin, sitting by the fire pit at night, walking to the pond and feeding the fish and just taking in the beautiful view all around. It was a much needed breath of of fresh air and weekend to slow down and enjoy our time together! We definitely plan to go back soon!!
