Blue Pine Motel

Absolutely impressed! This motel is such a cute, clean, and cozy gem. The room smells wonderful, and everything is spotless and so well maintained—it’s clear the owners take great pride in their property. Check-in was quick and easy, and the owner couldn’t have been friendlier or more welcoming. We love the convenience of being able to park right at our door - no hauling luggage back and forth! We also appreciate that they have a BBQ available to use. We’re genuinely so impressed with every detail. If we ever travel this route again, we’ll definitely stay here without hesitation.

The Motel meet our expectations, it's not the Ritz and we didn't expect that. The owner was very friendly and informative. We had a 3 bedroom room, it was a bit tight on space but ok for 1 night. It was clean and quiet enough despite being on the main road. There's a really good steakhouse next door, it gets busy and we had to wait 30 minutes for a table. They don't do breakfast but there are enough options in town for that. On site parking was ample and free.

Positive: Easy check-in and check-out. Friendly staff, well-appointed clean rooms. Actually working mini refrigerator, microwave , and tiny coffee pot with coffee . The little Gem movie theater/ice cream parlor/rock store/ library was so cute ! Negative: Literally the only negative was there was so much space between the beds two end tables between them would’ve been easier to reach than the single one

Everything was perfect. Parked our car when we got there and didn’t move except to go to parks. Walking distance to everything in town. Great BBQ right next door. Very comfortable bed, nice room arrangement, and best WiFi on the trip. We forgot a pillow. Cheryl vacuum bagged it back it back to us. Service way above and beyond. Absolutely staying again and highly recommended.

This small motel is ranked #1 in Trip Advisor but with limited number of reviews. However in checking other online services there are hundreds if not thousands of high reviews. I took my chances mainly because I needed a grill. I had the chance to speak to the owner. The motel has been in his family since the early 1900s. He also has another job that sends him traveling and staying in hotels/motels over 100 + days a year. So now I understand why his small motel has the touches of a nice inn. So the pros, very comfortable, clean, amenities, nice interior. Don’t get me wrong, it’s not the Ritz. But a great stay at a great price.
