Blue Heron Inn

Such a wonderful place. Beautifully restored and well stocked, this place is the perfect weekend getaway. Have been twice. First time was a couples getaway and second a girls’ weekend. Both were perfect. For girls’ weekend we had Sophie from Serenity Massage and Wellness come over. One of the best massages I have ever had. Highly recommend both Blue Heron Inn and Sophie!

This is a lovely place. You can tell how much work was put into this place to make it feel so welcoming. There are 2 decks (one main floor and one attached to master bedroom). Spacious bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, large dining table, large kitchen, and a wonderful backyard that looks out onto the Mississippi. Private riverfront backyard is perfect for a little fishing. The floors in the kitchen are also heated! Overall, an absolute GEM in itself. Can't wait to go back here. It definitely is a perfect, peaceful getaway.

Our family loves The Blue Heron as the most scenic place to stay in Lansing. The accommodations are always supurb and was perfect for our small family gathering. Well maintained and managed in all aspects all 5 times I have rented here. Look forward to coming back soon to this perfect getaway on the river perfectly located on the end of Main Street.

Had a wonderful time with family and friends when we stayed at the Blue Heron Inn. It would have been better if the inn had more comfortable sitting area. There was a couch a couple rocking chairs and the dining room table, but there was plenty of room. T9 put another sofa or sofa recliner combo. Otherwise, we loved having the entire place to ourselves, right on the river within walking distance to everything we wanted.

Loved this place and the location on the water. Great quality furnishings, homey, comfortable. Would highly recommend!
