Blue Gentian Lodge

Comfortable, VERY clean, hospitable! Hot tub was beautiful after a day of skiing, and hot breakfast is perfect before a day of skiing. Cozy and cute. Cannot wait to return. ||Conveniently located walking distance to Magic Mountain, which has a good restaurant with live music, and another Inn right up the road with a bar and dinner spot. 20 min drive to Okemo.

Myself and a large group come up to the Blue Gentian annually each January and every year it is an absolute blast. Great lodge (awesome hot tub), neat rooms, and the host, Lisa, is wonderful. You'll eat well, sleep well, and you're situated in some gorgeous country to go out and have a good time in.

Just echoing the sentiments of those before me. Lisa is nice and will make you a great breakfast. The people staying there are generally on holiday/vacation and all in good spirits, will be saying good morning and such. Its not like your corporate motel experience, still fairly old school mountain motel/lodgey type of deal. Also Lisa has extensive knowledge of the area and recommended a couple easy hikes during my stay. The room and bedding were clean and slept was easy as I can at this age.

I had a wonderful experience. The price was very reasonable. Service was excellent. Included beakfasts were MUCH better than a typical hotel. The 3 bed room they have was perfect for our family. Landscaping, views and pool were amazing! Watch out, no AC, but room did have a fan. May want to bring some more if you're a big group?

Very close to Magic Mountain, a fantastic ski area. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Stayed to ski Magic but we intend to come back another season maybe in the springtime. Loves that they include a very nice breakfast with the room. Overall highly recommended.
