Blue Diamond Motel

We booked a room for 8 people and when we came there was only room to sleep 6 people ( we have evidence of our biking being for 8 people). The room was absolutely FILTHY. Stains on the mattress that looked like dried blood. The sofa bed had bugs crawling on it and the when we open it all the way out it would not close. Pieces of the bed were falling off with the slightest movement. It reeked if cigarettes and the floor was absolutely disgusting. We tired to contact management about this respectfully and told them we’d be willing to stay despite the conditions if we gave us the extra beds. What we got in return was ONE cot that was falling apart and reeked. The managers response to this was basically that it wasn’t his issue to deal with. We asked for a refund and told him we would go stay

Overall not a bad place. Comfortable beds, decent size rooms, nice proximity to the boardwalk and beach. A bit over priced considering there was no fitted sheet on the beds. Just a flat sheet with a blanket and another flat sheet which had what appeared to be a cigarette burn. Air conditioner worked great esp since the weather during our stay was hot. Refrigerator did a great job keeping things nice and cold.

This motel is not a family place. We had the most horrible experience here. The rooms are run down. The staff was also run down( trashy). The pool was disgusting and unsupervised. The room was filthy and had an unusable broken couch in it. This is a place for partiers and drug addicts. We actually saw a drug deal go down on our last night. I was uncomfortable and afraid for my children's safety. Do not stay here. Never going back.

Poor cleaning, bed sheets stained had a shoe print on it, pillows were also stained nasty looking. Thank God we brought our own.. . Ants everywhere. Entire toilet rocked. So called Maid always looked high. Good luck finding parking. Just a terrible stay all the way around. My room wasn't cleaned until the day before we had to check out.

Awesome place! This was my 2nd once a year stay and this motel is excellent! I had a really late check-in this last vist. The employee was very understanding and did all the adjustments to make my trip go smoothly. The suite was spacious and clean. Full kitchen, clean beds, working air conditioners, just perfect . Can't complain about anything. Ill be at this motel again for year 3!
