Birch Knoll Motel

We booked a cabin nearby, but when we got there on a Friday night around 9 it was terrible. We were able to get a refund, but now had nowhere to stay so started calling around. The owners of Birch Knoll helped us out late at night, and we had a fantastic stay. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. The location is amazing. The owners are absolutely wonderful. I cannot recommend Birch Knoll Motel enough!

The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated. Our hosts were so very friendly and accommodating. We loved the rooftop deck, the pool, and best of all the little beach and dock steps away from our room. We had a perfect day sitting on the shore near the hotel's private dock watching boats and catching waves. The hotel is a short distance to Weirs beach and plenty of excellent food and entertainment options. We prefer to stay at Mom and Pop hotels for the homey feel and were not disappointed. Thank you very much for a lovely vacation.

We just got home from our stay at Birch Knoll Motel. We spent 5 days and 4 nights for our anniversary getaway. We had the left upper corner room in the back building. It was a cute and cozy room, very clean and the bed was very comfortable! The view of the sunset and the lake from our balcony was absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed the pool several times. The location is close to so many great restaurants and beautiful sites, not to mention a dock on the beach directly across the street. The owners were so friendly and kind. It was an amazingly peaceful, private and quiet stay. Absolutely perfect for our long weekend stay. Seamless check in and check out.

We just got back from our stay at Birch Knoll!! We stayed one extra night we were having such a wonderful time! The view of the sunset every night was amazing, the pool was refreshing, the rooms clean and the bed was Comfy!! we enjoyed the fire works sitting on the dock while all the neighbors on the lake took turn shooting them off :) the location was perfect :) Weirs beach 2 minutes down the road! The Birch Knoll exceeded every expectation of our stay!! Janet and Frank were the kindest, most welcoming hosts. The rooms were clean and modern. We had the best day on the dock and in the lake right across the street. We can’t wait for our next visit!
