Binns Motor Inn

After reading a lot of reviews, I was really nervous about staying here. However, it really wasn't as bad as the reviews make it seem. Check in was quick, front desk staff was friendly. The room was clean, you could smell the cleaning products. What I will say about the room, is that it's very outdated, and it was painted by someone with a lack of painting skills. That being said, those are issues that are easily overlooked when you consider the price point as well as location. Overall, I would absolutely stay here again. Unless you're planning on spending your beach vacation inside your hotel room, I would recommend this place.

This hotel needs extreme deep cleaning. We did not want to even sleep here but because of the price we paid and no refunds we did. Albeit very cautiously!!!. The a/c didn't work the first night. My husband slept in his lawn chair by our car it was so hot in the room. We did tell the front desk but after 3 hours and no maintenance coming to room he complained again. They walked in our room at midnight. Said it should cool down in about an hour. In the am we called again and this time got a new a/c unit. The TV remote only worked by figuring out the combination of buttons to press to change channels. The bathroom drain are disgusting and tub fills up 3 4 of the way before it starts to drain. DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE! I would give it 0 stars if I could. We paid $300/night for 2 nights, $600 I'll never get back. I should have read the reviews first. Our room smelled so heavily of cigarettes it was hard to breathe. There were cigarette burns on the comforter as well. There was no fitted sheet on the bed, just a flat sheet laid over the disgusting and stained mattress cover. The room and bathroom were so dirty I didn't even want to touch anything. This room is maybe worth $50/night, I still can't believe I paid the price that I did. I understand there are no refunds, but it was that bad we didn't even care nor did we stay the night. We turned right around and got the hell out of there, you couldn't even PAY me $600 to spend even ONE more second there.

I booked this room for myself, my daughter and my four teenage grandchildren. I made the mistake of not reading the reviews, I went by the pictures of the rooms on the Internet. The so-called sweet that they booked for me was a disgrace! The room was depressing, there were holes in the curtains along with dirt, broken slats on one of the rooms doors. My grandchildren‘s socks were black from the dirty floors. The handle on the bathroom to turn the shower off and on was broken. They were told but never fixed it. The dirt around the toilet would make you sick. The bathroom door knob was loose. There was no rack to hang the towels. The place definitely needs an upgrade all around... I wasn't expecting fancy by any means, but certainly would have appreciated functional plumbing in the room. Toilet wasn't steady, fixtures remind you of being in an outhouse, and there was NO hot water in the shower. Very narrow hallways, not handicapped accessible, and in need of repair and locks. Several doors to access various areas of the building depending on where your room is, but, to only be secured by a key to a bedroom door knob lock?? Tried to plug in a phone charger and the outlet arced, there was a light switch that appeared to be attached to nothing- it was to the outlet behind the TV and be lucky if you got any channels on it.
