Big Sarvice Creek Corral Campground We were invited to a large family celebration camping at Sarvice Creek Campground for 4 days. When driving to it for the first time, know that when you reach the billboard for the campground, the entrance is right there. We thought that was an advertisement and the campground was still ahead before we saw the bridge to the site. Some guests did go all the way into Fossil before turning around. The campground is located halfway between Spray and Fossil on a lovely pine covered hillside overlooking magnificent scenery. There are cabins as well as RV spaces with electricity scattered throughout the property with plenty of space between sites. There is a large covered kitchen/picnic area with two long tables that could easily seat 2 dozen people. It has 2 r

This the best place to stay in central Oregon! You get a camping feeling with the options of having GREAT group sleeping arrangements. I've made a couple trips out here every year for the past 5 years, and life wouldn't be the same without this place! Thank you J!

This place makes camping easy. The sites are set up for RVs but can be used for tents as well. The owner works hard to keep everything clean and convenient. Don't bother bringing a camp stove or firewood. There is an electric range, gas grill, wood grill and an open fire pit including a generous supply of fire wood. The kitchen also has hot and cold water at the large sink. There is enough tables/seating for a large group or several small groups to use the kitchen area at the same time. The bathrooms are big, clean and are kept stocked every day. We didn't stay in a cabin, but next time we just might. I peeked inside one of them and I was impressed with the furnishings and clean linens. The location is great for visiting the Painted Hills, Fossil and the John Day River.

This place is wonderful! It’s quiet and clean and —big bonus—has a great outdoor kitchen with pots and pans, an electric stove , picnic table and sink! We were able to charge our electric car using a 220 volt outlet..(.I think these are usually for RVs so check before you assume you can do this. ). We’ll be back!
