Big Apple Motel

Worst hotel experience ever. The room was dirty, the bathroom had a bad smell, Lights are not even working. The bedsheets and walls had stains, and the entire motel smelled like cigarette smoke. Ac is not even working properly. Carpets are very dirty we can’t walk with bare foot. There were bed bugs in the room, which is completely unacceptable. We were given two beds one was broken and the other was also in bad condition. We were unable to sleep even for one night. The front desk staff seemed uninterested in helping. I regret booking this hotel.

⭐☆☆☆☆ If disappointment were a motel, this would be the flagship location. The room looked like it gave up on itself sometime in the early 2000s and never recovered. Questionable cleanliness, worn-out everything, and the kind of smell that makes you crack a window and rethink your life choices. Service was minimal at best, and that’s being generous. Location is fine if your goal is simply to be somewhere that is technically a place, but it does nothing to offset the overall experience. Stayed here out of necessity, not desire. Would not return unless all other options were booked, closed, or on fire.

Positive: "" Negative: Disgustingly dirty. Soiled clothing in the shower. Cigarette butts and a chicken bone in the room. Stained, dingy bedding with no top sheet. Stained, dingy pillow cases. Musty smell so bad I wore a mask the whole time in the room

Not an appropriate place to stay. Very dirty. Carpet not vacuumed. Dirty linen and bed cover. I used blankets from my car to sleep on top of the bed. I used wipes from my car to clean all surfaces. Quite filthy. No mirror in the bathroom or shelf to set things on. Appears to be transitioning to a shelter?

The staff was super helpful and very polite, and they solved any problems that my family and I had during our stay. When there were problems with the flooring, they called someone in to come in and fix it and fix anything else we had any issues with. They were very welcoming.
