Best Western Plus Yakima Hotel

Positive: Staff were friendly and super helpful. Site seemed secure. Negative: Mobility room was not up to standards. The bathroom light/fan switch was in bad location, behind where the door opens. The toilet was super low and the bed was super high, making transfers unsafe. Recommend "comfort height/ADA" toilet and a lower bed

The hotel was inviting, clean, and comfortable. My husband is wheelchair bound and his only complaint was that the toilet was too low for sitting down comfortably. He had enough room to maneuver the wheelchair in the bathroom, was able to take a shower, etc. The staff was friendly. I left our sandwiches in the fridge, so I called the hotel and they got them from the room, refrigerated them until I could retrieve them, all in a friendly manner. We would stay again.

Not a bad hotel. Rooms were clean and the staff were super nice. It’s a small best western so it’s room size is average. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was small but it was clean. Windows have the old style curtains. They did give our dog a swag bag which was super nice!! The food bar was average. Unfortunately the deal breaker was the hot water ran out for the whole hotel Monday morning so had to take a like more cold shower. Many of the guests were very unhappy. Also the Main Street is full of homeless so it’s a little off putting. If you’re tired and don’t want to drive more then this place is ok for the night.

I had the best experience ever staying at the best Western in Yakima first. The hospitality alone will make me come back again. Tiff was at the front desk and she made my stay and experience. We won’t forget. She is a real asset to the best Western family. Thanks, TIFF

I showed up just before midnight after driving for hours, only to find out the hotel had canceled my reservation without notifying me. I made my reservation weeks in advance and my room was sold to someone else, and the hotel was at full capacity. So there I was: a woman traveling alone, stranded in an unfamiliar city at midnight with no room and no help. The staff offered nothing. I sat in my car crying, frantically calling other hotels, only to learn most were fully booked. It was terrifying, careless, and completely unacceptable. This hotel left me abandoned in the middle of the night.
