La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Yakima Downtown

Amazing stay and outstanding service! We arrived at the hotel around 3 a.m., and despite the late hour, Kevin at the front desk welcomed us with the warmest smile and incredible professionalism. He made our check-in smooth, easy, and truly comforting after a long journey. Kevin went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The entire hotel staff was extremely friendly, polite, and always ready to help. The rooms were very clean, well-maintained, and cozy. You can really feel the attention to detail. Nice newer hotel, very clean and no wear and tear so far. Price point was good, rooms are quiet and large. There is a decent looking pool (did not use) and the lobby is very nice and modern. ||Easy walk to a good place to eat (bob’s burgers and beer), and a Target and some other stores||One of the nicer la Quinta’s we have stayed in.

Rooms was huge and very very clean. Pool and hot tub was amazing! Breakfast was pretty great. The morning front desk girl was not friendly at all! No smile, no thank you for staying with us, no nothing but cold crabbyness! The girl that worked the evening shift that checked us in was so amazing. I wish I would have gotten her name because she could train the morning girl and teach her a thing or 10 about how to smile and treat people! Other than the crappy Tuesday morning person everything was amazing!

Positive: The room was clean. Negative: The TV service was out all night, the pool area was extremely dirty. The hot tub was brown in color, pool towels were dirty, although it's a 24hr pool, it needs 24hr attention.

Cleaning staff were super nice, rooms were very clean and tighty. Other than the sketchy location, this hotel felt very safe and updated. Late night counter lady was a little short and rude but it was a Holiday night so we get it. Would definitely come back for the price.
