Best Western Plus Tallahassee North Hotel

I stayed at this hotel while in town for meetings at the Capital. I was very pleased with my experience from start to finish. The room was extremely clean, and I don’t say that lightly. I checked the corners, air vents, bathroom edges, and even did a white towel test. Everything passed. The bathroom was spotless, linens were fresh, and the room felt well maintained and comfortable. I did need another iron...another was brought to me in a very short amount of time. The bed was comfortable, the room was quiet, and the layout was practical with plenty of space. I appreciated the fridge and microwave, which made the stay even more convenient. The staff was friendly and welcoming, and breakfast was genuinely scrumptious with a good variety to start the day. I used to really like this hotel. In fact, it’s been my go-to choice for visits to Tallahassee for the past couple of years. Unfortunately, it’s started to really go downhill and these days feels more like a motel than a Best Western Plus hotel :(||I’ve always been loyal to the brand, especially as the staff here have always been (and remain!) fantastic: from the front desk to housekeeping to management to maintenance. I’ve never had an issue with how welcoming and helpful they are :)||However, my most recent stay may be my last, based on the following:||- Constant marijuana smell||- Very outdated rooms, to the point there are no USB outlets anywhere (a little frustrating in 2025)||- Updated door locks that kept breaking||- 6 out of 10 for cleanliness in my room (other guest’s hair in the

This is the best hotel in the area! Everyone there is so nice and welcoming. It didn't matter what staff I was interacting with or even just passing, they would say good morning or hello. The breakfast and gym were also really good! The price was very much worth it. We come every year for Christmas and we will keep coming back.

Room was larger than normal. Couch Desk Fridge comfortable king mattress. Quiet the night I stayed. Outdoor pool exercise room. Very good service. Free hot breakfast.

Positive: The staff and their preparation for guest comfort at every level was exceptional. They prepared for everything from forgetting your toothbrush to alcohol gel dispensers throughout the hotel for guest cleanliness and health. Negative: No
