Best Western Plus Santa Barbara

This is an exceptional hotel in a convenient location to visit the Botanical Garden and Mission. Beaches are straight down the hill a couple of miles. The room was large, comfy, and clean with a sliding glass door to get fresh air. I appreciated the laundry facility and hot jacuzzi. On site restaurant had delicious whole-grain waffles. I highly recommend this hotel.

This—our second stay here—was even better than the first! We got a King suite in a recently remodeled part of the hotel. The kitchen was a welcome bonus, with a 'fridge, coffee maker, a tea kettle, one burner stove and microwave. Everything was clean and inviting looking. Sitting room with desk, table and chairs and a small couch plus plenty of storage in the bedroom. The bathroom in this unit is small and it contains the only mirror in the suite. We had a lovely view of the pool which is maintained to a very high standard; the landscaping is gorgeous. Parking is free and we didn't have trouble finding a space. The room was upstairs with no elevator. We love the cafe downstairs and enjoyed the breakfast there. Neighborhood is quiet and close enough to the action to be convenient.

The location was convenient and it was great for travelers with a car to park, because you can take the car out if you like or just leave it parked. We were able to walk to our dinner one of the nights and it was only a short drive for breakfast. I loved the balcony, it was the best way to enjoy the winter sun.

All motels should be as nice as this one. A truly wonderful stay from the moment we arrived till we left the next day. Staff was kind, patient and well spoken. They were all well dressed. We got a recommendation for dinner from our host and we went to Taqueria La Unica. Thanks staff!! The Best! The room was perfectly clean with no flaws that I could see… Except, watch for a slippery shower. The finch habitat is cool. They look happy. I save my best words for the hotel maintenance people. The outside of the motel is as nice as the inside. A very rare quality. I give this fine motel eleven stars all day.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The hotel is like a small resort. Multiple building all with easy parking and access. All of the amenities were well maintained, especially the hot tub which was wonderful. They even provide large resort style towels for the pool and hot tub. The rooms are updated with all of the amenities of a large 4 star hotel, yet it has the motel vibe. Everything is exceptionally clean. I personally like that they provide each room with a portable a/c unit for those that like a/c even during the cooler times when the hvac system for the property is on heat. Whoever owns and manages this property is doing an amazing job! BW needs to recognize this property for its outstanding service and facilities.
