Best Western Plus Rapid City Rushmore

Check in was fast and easy, staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean and comfortable. The room was clean, it included a bathtub where I was able to enjoy a hot bath before bed, a mini fridge, microwave, television, plenty of storage space for your things, desk, comfy chair with ottoman. Soap, shampoo, conditioner etc provided. POD style coffee machine provided with coffee, decaf, breakfast tea, and nighttime tea. It is possible to have food delivered to your room. The location is fine, but is far from downtown.

Positive: The breakfast in thr morning was very nice. Great variety for multiple days. Negative: Stupid complaint, but the bed sheets and pillows were not the most comfortable. The sheets were ill fitting and the pillows went flat very quick.

This hotel met two of my three requirements for a stay: the beds were clean and the bathroom was clean. The third requirement is a quiet stay. I thought that it was going to be quiet because our room was at the end of the hotel away from the elevators, but the first night we were woken up around 2 am by bumping and trampling in the hall or stairs across from our room.||We would consider staying here again.||Good points: |-The location is great—it’s right next to a gas station and it’a close to the highways.|-The room was mostly clean (beds, bathroom, towels), though housekeeping did not vacuum the room.|-Shower water temperature was great, and the shower head was really tall—I had to stand on tiptoes to reach it, but the height was good for water coverage to the back of the shower.|-The bo

Fiancée and I planned a trip to explore the Black Hills, and this Best Western comes highly rated. I see why: it’s easy on/off the highway, centrally located, and they don’t charge for parking as many do here. The morning breakfast was a really nice surprise! Fiancée is celiac, and the fact they have gluten free items is awesome! Coffee, juices, eggs, potatoes, Canadian bacon or ham (I don’t eat either and can’t tell the difference lol). The reason for the star deduction are the rooms. A few things: We booked a king room. Unfortunately when we arrived and entered, it reeked of smoke! Really badly, eye burning. Apparently there was a prior guest in there who wasn’t supposed to be rented to? I believe the hotel is 100% smoke-free. The person at the desk that night did apologize and mov

Stayed here numerous times over the years. Nice facility, good breakfast and pet friendly (with lower pet fee than most). Plus cost is generally better than most. We will stay there again when going through Rapid City.
