Best Western Plus Philadelphia-Choctaw Hotel and Suites

It's OK. The worst part is the Breakfast. The breakfast is not all that great. Just open a can and serve it type of deal. Biscuits are used over and over until gone. They are cold and you have to put them in the toaster. Coffee is 24/7. It's a machine that you just need to get use to. The Room - the doors need replacing. They stick when you go in and don't rely on them closing when you leave. You have to double check them. They are old and need replacing. As read in a previous review about the toilet ---- yes it is lower than everthing else and is difficult getting up and down especially if you are a senior. We have stayed at this motel several times over the last 5 or 6 years because it is not far from the relatives we visit in central Mississippi. The location is convenient for us and the rates are reasonable because we are usually there at off-peak times. It was built in 2006, and should probably be completely remodeled again soon. I had a pleasant stay! The front desk staff was friendly & very helpful! CLEAN & GREAT location!

My king size bed was extremely hard. Tossed in pain most of the night. Was there for a concert at the casino. Photo in my room.

It was really a decent hotel. I was a little apprehensive reading the reviews, but there's not much I can say on the negative side. The lobby is nice and inviting. Front desk friendly. The room was cleaned and well stocked. We were comfortable and at ease. From our window the pool looked cloudy, but there were guests swimming and lounging poolside. The gym had adequate equipment and cleaning wipes. The elevator was a little creaky and the carpet was dreary looking, may need an update. The breakfast was the usual fare with a good selection and tasty; there was a yogurt machine and toppings/add-ons for the waffles.
