Best Western Plus O'Hare International South Hotel

I had a very frustrating experience with this hotel. I booked through Booking.com and my app showed one reservation, but when I arrived the front desk said they had two reservations in their system, which took a long time to sort out. Before checking in, I confirmed the free parking for a week and shuttle, which was one of the main reasons I booked. I was then told parking was $20 per night. My room was $108 before taxes, but parking for the week would have been $160, which made no sense. Because of that, I decided not to stay. The staff still pushed me to pay a $50 cancellation fee, even after I showed them an email I had previously sent asking about the free parking. Absolutely rude!!!!!!!! We booked a day use room and wanted to come in early after arrival at the airport for our 8hr layover. Not possible. We would not be welcome before check-in at 9. We wanted to wait in the lobby until 9am. Not possible. The staff member was super rude and told us we were not welcome before 9am. Thanks - we canceled. Absolute no-go.

The Best western in Franklin park is great! Very friendly staff, clean rooms, delicious breakfast, airport shuttle service and a great price! 10 minutes O’hare airport and located in Franklin Park, my students travel far and stay the week at Best western. So far they all have given me excellent reviews!! Big thanks to the friendly staff at Best Western for making their stay a little more comfortable!!

The location is close to O'Hare so the shuttle doesn't take too long. We did have a frustrating time getting hold of the hotel for a shuttle pick up from the airport but we finally got a call through. Arranging a return trip with shuttle was much easier and the driver was quite friendly. ||The rooms are clean. I have been to many value hotels in the O’Hare airport area and have had the best experience with this one. Erik at the front desk was very helpful in pointing out good restaurants nearby and was flexible with my schedule. The rooms are clean and modern, and the complimentary breakfast has many options. The wifi is strong, and overall, this hotel has nothing to complain about.
