Best Western Plus Lonestar Inn & Suites

Now fore a small town this is the hotel to be at. Im old and cranky soni give honest review. The beds actualy have proper blankets and sheets so im not freezing once the AC is turned on in the room to cool the room even when set low say 68°, beds aren't the softest but there fair and sleep good. The rooms are actualy kept clean, I can't say the TV is the greatest since im old and can't hear and dont see the words on the screen or options to do so CC not available and volue too low to hear, but good channels. Amenities as needed in the room and downstairs in the small store. Staff are nice and the morning breakfast is awsum. This is the place to be in C-City fore yr nightly stay. Way WAY better than the Chaquinta down the road, I hope I didn't miss spell that.

Positive: "" Negative: Pool area was a little dirty, empty beer cans, pool not skimmed, pool restrooms locked, lobby restrooms out of order, no signage to get pool towels from front desk.

Quiet and good beds. Friendly check in and out. We had issues with the TV and someone came up and showed us how to operate their system. Some written instructions would have saved them the trip. Room toilet needs some adjustments, but the room was clean and the a/c worked great! |Nice little breakfast in a good sized spot.

Breakfast was cold and staff didn't and wouldn't restock when running low. Had one staff watching over our shoulder to see how much food we were getting. OMG its not like we didn't pay for breakfast. |We asked for extra towels and the staff was rude.|I will never stay at this hotel again.

This staff was very friendly as it was late when we checked in for a room so she discounted it since we was only going to be there for 4 hours. The room was very clean. The only complaint I had was the fan on the air conditioner was a bit noisy. The breakfast was just the norm and check-out was easy and quick.
