Best Western Plus Landmark Inn

Good location for other activities, but we choose here for the pool only to find out upon check in that is was not functioning. Would have definitely not booked here if had known the pool not working. Check in process was strange. As we approached the front desk we were told abruptly please give me a few minutes. We sat down and waited five minutes until she was ready for us. We had reservation, but somehow check in process lasted almost 10 minutes. Not sure why, but once we got to our room found that it was right across from elevator making it a noisy room. I requested another room and told there were no other rooms available. I find it hard to believe that there are no other rooms. This does not seem completely full at all. Not happy, won't return

I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights with my kids over February Break. The room was clean but run down. One of the main outlets didn’t work and the manager brought up an extension cord. The continental breakfast was lacking. There was no protein offered we were told it “hadn’t been delivered” along with no bowls for the cereal. They “hadn’t been delivered” also. The staff was very nice, but The main reason I’m not giving this place a great review is because we were not told upon checkout that the pool was closed for maintenance. Those of us who have kids pick hotels based on whether they have a pool or not, and we should have been told before they allowed us to check in when I mentioned that we were not happy about they’re not being a pool the manager didn’t seem to think it was a big deal.

The location of this hotel worked very well for a couple of days of sightseeing in central New Hampshire. Our room was clean and spacious, with a small couch and a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was spotless, though it was tricky to adjust the shower temperature without stepping in—so expect a quick blast of cold water to start your morning!|We especially enjoyed the patio overlooking the river, where we caught a beautiful sunset one evening. Breakfast was decent, with sausage and eggs, though an earlier start than 7 a.m. would have suited our schedule better. The front desk staff were pleasant, but they seemed to be balancing multiple responsibilities, so the desk wasn’t always staffed.|Overall, it was a good stay with no major issues, and we would happily book here again when visitin

I had a fantastic stay at the best Western plus in Laconia. The staff were very polite and very helpful. The breakfast was great. The rooms were impeccable. I would highly recommend to anyone looking to stay in New Hampshire.

Positive: Friendly competent staff. While hotel is not new, it is very well maintained. Fantastic view of downtown Laconia, especially at night. Negative: Sadly, a single item was of significance. The coffee machine that serves the guests at breakfast is woefully inadequate in capacity, it makes two cups, then goes into a protracted "water heating". It then produces undrinkable swill.
