Best Western Plus Edmundston Hotel

*Even after this review, which they answered to, they still haven't adress the surcharge fee nor answered me back by email to adress it... Pretty unimpressive that a business works like that. Use a platform if you go there, not their website. That way you will have better services.* I was travelling with an 11 weeks old infant. I decided to reserve directly on their website rather than Expedia platform, even though the website was more expensive, just to be on the safer side. I didn't want to arrive after 9hrs of drive and having to deal with a missing reservation between the platform and the hotel. Decor is old-style charm and very welcoming. This hotel reminds me of the older style hotels with a nice cozy lounge area with a fireplace and comfortable sofas to relax in. The breakfast area is small but very welcoming and things are neatly arranged. Although the decor is old-style, the hotel has all modern amenities that you would expect from a hotel. I would definitely stay at this hotel again if and when I return to this area. I would also recommend others to give this hotel a try, you won’t regret it.

We overnighted at this establishment, 13 Dec 2025. The location is very convenient for travelers as it is only minutes from the Trans Canada. This was one of the more expensive options in Edmundston but after reading all the reviews regarding other choices or accomodations, we chose this hotel. We made our reservation via the advertised phone number and specified our requests for our stay. As we had our dog with us, we requested a ground floor room with direct access to the outside from our room with a King bed. We arrived in the early evening and we greeted with smile. Be aware this is a heavy French area of New Brunswick but the staff does speak English, patience is a must. Being Acadian, I had no issues so this was a moot point for me. We stayed for my daughter’s birthday sleepover (2 adults, 5 kids), and while we made beautiful memories, the experience was mixed. The positives: The two-king suite (once we were placed in the correct room) was clean, spacious, and perfect for a celebration. Extra bedding and a cot allowed us to connect the two king beds for a full slumber-party setup — the girls loved it. The pocket door separating the sofa bed added great privacy. The pool with the slide was a huge hit, the jacuzzi added a spa-like touch, and the gym was a fun bonus. Karaoke on one TV and a Disney movie on the other made the night special. Always a clean comfortable fairly quiet hotel with excellent service. First rate breakfast buffet starts early and goes late. Only gripe is not many outlets in the room and the TV program guide doesn't work. In room heater is a bit noisy but works well. We always stay here when on the way through and so do the local snowmobile riders and clubs. Recommended
