Best Western Plus Caldwell Inn & Suites

I wanted to like this place. Rooms were clean, but the bathrooms were old and grungy. The pool area was HOT and loud, and the pool murky. We asked for house cleaning to clean our room the night we were there. We even asked the cleaner in the hallway when we left and she said she would. All they did was add more soap and fold down the toilet paper. No beds made or anything. This is a best western MINUS not sure how it’s a plus. Would not recommend to anyone and we will be staying elsewhere next time.

Great experience! Breakfast had a good amount of choices for a best western. Room was large and beds were extremely comfortable. Stayed in the family room with 4 king beds and this was more than enough room for everyone to stretch out comfortably. Would be nicer if the other part of the room had their own additional amenities or a 2nd bathroom. Hotel has been performing renovations and so far they look great; I mistook the hotel for being a newer hotel. Was told they would be working on the bathrooms in the rooms next; and that they will need, but rooms are well kept for the age of the hotel. Would stay here again if needed to.

TLDR: Use Expedia to get a better deal and make sure to use their support for problems as they much fairer and easier to work with.|Arrived at midnight after making arrangements to check-in late. Staff tried to turn us away because my spouse was not there and booking was in her name. I had no idea that was a thing. Hotel staff said because we booked through Expedia they couldn't do anything. They said Expedia was shady to work with. I was exhausted after driving through 5 hours of rain and snow, so pretty much just sat there until they came up with something. Seemed like forever. They eventually cancelled our Expedia reservation and created a new one at a much higher rate. We didn't need the same size rooms anymore because my spouse wasn't there. The hotel didn't care about that, either. T

Positive: Very convenient location to the highway, close to friends and family. Good clean room, and was allowed to opt out of daily housekeeping.I really enjoyed the breakfast as well. Too bad you can't ship wine in the mail- Negative: The only complaint I had was that the shower curtain kept falling inwards on the rod, while I was showering. Hard to keep the floor dry!

I routinely stay at the Best Western Plus Caldwell Inn & Suites for weekly work travel and have never had issues...until now. The day before my planned stay, I called the hotel to confirm availability. A man at the front desk (who I later learned was the General Manager) assisted me. I clarified that the reservation was for the following day, and he told me everything was set. The next day, I received an email asking me to rate my stay, before I even arrived. That’s when I realized my reservation had been made for the wrong date. I immediately called the hotel and spoke with a woman named Anna.
