Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel

The service here was genuinely great. The staff were very helpful, check in was super easy, and checking out was just as simple. Overall, the experience started off really strong. We had no complaints about the room at first… until we did. Unfortunately, I found a significant amount of mold in the bathtub, which is obviously not ideal and potentially unsafe. That said, management responded promptly once it was reported and assured us it would be addressed. I’m choosing to leave a more positive review here specifically because of how the situation was handled. Being responsive and taking concerns seriously matters. Ivo and Yash were super helpful, friendly and accommodating. They even gave me and my gf an upgrade on our room at no extra charge. I highly recommend this hotel as it is very close to Universal and they even offer a shuttle to the parks! The hotel has a pool and a hot tub, a basketball court.. our stay was very quiet and peaceful and we were not rushed at the 11am check out time. Would stay here again!

Positive: Location Negative: Terrible stay. Old, uncomfortable pillows and a dirty room on arrival. I woke up with red spots and was told by a hospital they were insect bites from dirty bedding. No response from the hotel. Not recommended.

This affordable hotel has been updated and it's nice. It is very close to all of the major theme parks. It isn't a 5 star resort, but our room was spacious, very clean, and well-appointed. The breakfast was well-stocked and the hot options were filling. There is a LOT to choose from at the breakfast buffet.. eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffle maker, fresh fruits, oatmeal, yogurt, cereals, etc... ||The highlight of the stay was Luciana at the front desk. She was SO helpful in SO many ways. She answered all of our questions and ensured we had absolutely everything we needed. We will stay here again!

My first experience at a Best Western was great! Luciana at the front desk was warm and welcoming and very insightful. I was stuck for another night in Orlando because of the blizzard in NY and was able to take advantage of the hot tub despite the 50 degree Florida chill. The gym is a step up from usual hotel gyms, featuring a cable machine and lots of free weights. Located right next to Universal Endless Summer Resort and close to Universal Studios. Would definitely stay again!
