Best Western Lakewood Inn

On our return trip from Kansas to Maryland we stayed at Best Western Lakewood in Hebron, Ohio. There were not many choices close to the Interstate outside of Columbus. We were pleasantly surprised. The hotel is older, but extremely clean. The breakfast area was cleaner than most hotels dining areas. The staff were all very friendly. We will make this hotel part of our regular roadtrip stop.

My husband and I love staying at this particular hotel when we want to get away for a night. We love staying in jacuzzi rooms and the Best Western Lakewood Inn has the best rooms for a relaxing soak in the tub. Their presidential suite is our favorite- a spacious room with a large jacuzzi tub & balcony that overlooks the pool area (which isn’t something we use when we go but if you’re taking your kids, would be a convenient way to keep an eye on them). If the larger suite isn’t available their regular jacuzzi rooms are fine too. All the rooms are clean and come with all the basic amenities. They even have some mints and a bag of Famous Amos cookies to welcome your arrival. This location is also down the street from a cool bar call “Mill Dam”. Positive: It's close to my house Negative: The old guy manager was a rude jerk, pillows were lumpy, bed uncomfortable, heater broke, tub drain was nasty. Worst experience I've ever had staying at a hotel. Hot tub barely warm and pool and pool room too cool.

Just checked in coming from Michigan. Drove through the night and was exhausted. Staff were extremely helpful and checked me in right away even though I was early. The room was fresh and clean. If I’m ever in this area again I would definitely stay here again.

I had an emergency situation with my vehicle and Sheila was very communicative and was helping me all the way through with readjusting my reservations. In the middle of a busy time with other customers on her side, she ensured everyone was taken care of in a timely manner. Additional edit: Rob checked us in when we got there and he was super friendly towards myself and my children. Made us feel very at home in this hotel.
