Best Western Harker Heights

Had a wonderful experience at this hotel. Check in was very quick, courteous and acknowledged my diamond status. The room was very clean and had no smell at all. Overall, the night was very quiet and in the morning, the shower was nice and hot. Breakfast was the usual hotel buffet, but it was good and fresh. Nice location right by the highway. Also a good chinese restaurant right down the street. Recommend this hotel highly.

Hotel has mold and mildew on the 3rd floor. The curtains are filled with mold. Hotel itself smells of mold and mildew. You can see the mold in the window seals. I walked on the carpet, and my socks were dirty in 10 minutes. The sinks and tubs are old and look as though someone took a can of white spray paint trying to cover up the filth. Very poor hygiene. I watched the maid change pillowcase in the room next to me.|Didn't change the pillow, just the pillowcase. I wonder if the persons who slept their before were ill. ?????? Bring your own pillow.

Positive: Very clean. The staff was exceptional, especially the check-in clerk. I think he might be the owner. And they allow for early check-in. Negative: No

Wow, what can we say. We checked in, and went to our room, and the room wreaked of cat urine. Also the electronic door lock wouldn't lock. So you could just grab the handle, and walk right on in there. The guy at the front was nice. He gave us a refund. I do not recommend.

If I were you I wouldn’t book here! The only thing nice about this hotel is the location and how the rooms are set up is nice. Other than that everything else is a NO! The manager is very rude and nasty. Cops were called on me because I told the manager that they had bedbugs. I was told that there weren’t any bedbugs in this hotel when I have complete proof that they had them. I showed them the proof that I had, and I was told to never come back here and that it probably came from me. I did not receive a refund so I’m taking this to court.
