I’ve stayed in plenty of hotels, but this was one of the more concerning experiences. We requested an upstairs room in advance, yet when we arrived at 5:30pm, we were told there was only one room left and no possibility of changing it. It was on the ground floor, next to the soda machine and pool. Within minutes, we found used towels in the bathroom—already a bad sign. Worse, when I stepped on the carpet outside the bathroom, my socks were soaked with urine. Not water. Urine. And not ours. With no option to switch rooms, we had to stay the night and were woken early by loud footsteps overhead. The explanation offered by Andrea at the front desk the next morning—that “maybe someone homeless came in before you arrived”—was said almost casually, which was incredibly unsettling. We were move

Positive: It was very clean and the lady who checked us in was really nice and helpful Negative: We had to come back after check out because my 6 year old left toys in a drawer we didn't know about. The lady at the desk said "oh they probably cleaned the room and threw them away". They hadn't cleaned yet and we got the toys, but yikes.

This is an older BW property, but fine for our needs. First room was a dbl queen near the hot tub, clean and more than adequate for a fair price. The third night I was alone and switched to a king with a walk in type shower, as no ADA rooms were available. This room was somewhat more worn down but still ok for me and the shower was perfect. Best things about this property were the staff, universally warm and welcoming. And the awesome coffee machine in the lobby is not to missed, lattes etc. however you want whenever you want, and free. Finally, the $50 BW card for staying two nights is a nice perk. I’m sure I’ll be back.

This was evidently a local "working man's motel" as that's all we saw here. Poor attention to detail in cleaning and maintenance. Not much pride of ownership. It reminded me of old Motel 6's from years gone by. The receptionist studied the screen for several minutes then asked "Do you want your waters?" No acknowledgement other than that. Seemed to hate their job. The bed was a mattress on a metal frame. No box spring. The temp regulator in the wall heating unit was off by 5 degrees and noisy. The room was grubby by BW usual high standards. Upon checkout same treatment. Hardly a word spoken other that "you want your receipt?" Wow. This is a "One and Done" for us!"
