Beluga Lake Lodge

The owner, Barbie, was great. We had some issues with our reservation that was all on our side, but she took care of us and got it all figured out for us, even though we arrived at 10 PM. We appreciated her help so much! ||Place was clean and quiet. We would definitely recommend and go back.

The reviews about the smell are still accurate. It was so bad we couldn't sleep. I don't know if it's a plumbing issue or someone died in there, but it's so overwhelming. We checked in after hours and the lady was super helpful, she's the only reason I feel bad about this review. But the smell was just so sickening, when we checked out the other lady acted like she didn't know what we were talking about, even tho it was strongest at the check in desk. Would not recommend until they fix the smell.

The staff in the evening was not the nicest but that's fine, in the morning though they were both extremely nice. Clearly the hotel and rooms is very old and could use some renovation, but it's still fine honestly! I feel the price is not justified though. Large parking lot and free coffee/tea 24/7

Owned and run by a very nice family, very friendly and caring. The building is worn, but comfortable and has everything you need at an extremely reasonable rate. There's a good sized closet with hangers, an iron and suitcase stand. A large sink area with a wall mounted blow dryer, complimentary soaps, lotions and shower gels and gorgeous local wildlife pictures. It was extremely quiet during my stay. I did not visit the bar/restaurant, but heard that it's very good. The location is convenient, not far from either the Homer Spit and downtown Homer.
