Bella Villa Resort Motel

We have been to the Bella Villa for about six or seven years in a row now. We keep going back because of the ambiance and location. But mostly because of the owners and how much they care for all of their guests. The rooms are older, but let’s be honest you don’t spend much time in your room in Osoyoos. The beds are comfortable, cupboards are stocked with dishes and pots and pans. We get the beachfront units so that the lake is steps from our door. BBQs to cook meals on outside, storage for paddle boards. There is a reason some of our Bella Villa friends have been going back for 35 years. Cannot beat it. Deanna and Don…..you create a great place!

I reserved my room on line, not knowing what to expect. when I arrived in Osoyoos and saw the Bella Villa I was glad I chose this place to spend the winter. The location is on a quiet side street and the back of the property has its own private clean sandy beach, sun decks. I stayed for a month in a main unit and moved into a lake front unit later. The lake front was spectacular. My own beach front entrance, deck and a dinning room window that gave me on of the greatest views one could ever hope for. The place is clean, quiet and the owners Deanna and Don are the greatest friendliest people you can imagine. I was so happy I chose Bella Villa, I stayed till I found a home of my own. We booked it on the road while coming in from Seattle. It was a rushed reservation since we barely had any cell service driving through Mount Baker and Ross Lake National Parks. Google Maps gave the motel 3.5 stars and the photos didn’t look too bad… but wow, were they misleading. First of all, this place should be condemned and burned to the ground. We ended up crashing on the couch together and slept maybe two hours before waking up and leaving as the sun came up. The tiny, closet-sized bedroom had a military-style mattress that practically screamed, “tetanus shot required.” There was no way I was letting Karlie step foot in there—let alone sleep on that bed. The fridge smelled like it came straight out of a Rob Zombie film. They literally left the door unlocked with the keys sitting

Great bang for your buck the beach is amazing the owners are fantastic. For a city that is outdoor living this is a great place.

We stayed in a one bedroom suite at the Bella Villa for 10 days this summer. We had an amazing time!! The suite was older but was perfect for our needs. The kitchen had all we needed for cooking full meals and there were bbq’s on site to use. Access to the gorgeous beach was right from the motel. The owners were onsite, super friendly and accommodating. There are only 14 units and had a lovely welcoming feel. Thank you, so much, Deanna and Don! We’ll be back!!
