Beaver Lakefront Cabins

It was our 3rd time visiting, and it was perfect. The power went out for a bit. (Not at their fault) the office was closed. But Todd came to the rescue with lanterns and room keys to a room that the generators were working if we decided to switch. All of the staff was so nice. The cabins are clean and have great lake views. I highly recommend staying here for a getaway. We will definitely be back next year.

We chose Beaver Lakefront Cabins for our anniversary weekend specifically based on their ratings and the cabin descriptions including the luxury jacuzzi. Our cabin (#4) was beautiful and well maintained. Unfortunately, the jacuzzi was non-functional on our first night. I was impressed by the staff responsiveness and friendliness. Bree sent someone from maintenance to repair it while we were out Saturday afternoon. However, upon our return, it was still inoperable. Bree was again very responsive and sent a nice young man from maintenance to look at it again. He was eventually able to get it working but it did result in a bit of a mess when he tested it without enough water in the tub, which I ended up wiping up once he was gone. INCREDIBLE!! My wife and I are making a road trip down to our new home in Texas from Illinois. This was also serving as our mini-moon due to the timing. We stayed at BLC for three days during that road trip and it was perfect. They are very thorough with check in instructions through text and the website includes most if not all answers to questions someone may have. Arrived at 11pm to a gorgeous and clean suite. The hot tub is the best and the view incredible. Kind service at the office if you’re ever needing to rent a movie or inquire about anything. They have free first come first serve paddle boards, pontoon style pedal boats and kayaks for use on beaver lake. It was off season but we decided to take the pedal boat onto the lake. We have stay here every chance we get because it is absolutely the coziest, prettiest, most relaxing cabin by the lake! The amenities are wonderful...the hot tub, the luxurious shower, and the king size bed. The Roku TV allows you to stream all your own apps but we couldn't figure out how to work the surround sound. The deck has an amazing view of the lake...so peaceful!! The cabin is clean and the kitchen has all your needs!

This review is specifically for the Hot Tub Lake House. I want to preface it by saying that I've stayed at their Bluff Cabin years ago, and it was a 5-star luxury experience that I absolutely loved. The lakehouse, unfortunately, was a bit of a disappointment. The website description said this cabin was upscale and luxurious, but based on my other travels and experiences, it just wasn't. While we loved having the many bedrooms and bathrooms, game room, and hot tub, everything seemed a little run down. The outdoor grill didn't work properly, the directions on the firepit were torn off, the coffee pot and oven door were dirty, and there was dust on the fans and various surfaces with a large cobweb upstairs.
