Bear Rock Suites

Everything about our stay at Bear Rock Suites was perfect! Our hosts, Amy and Charlie, have created a wonderfully peaceful place to stay while visiting Northern New Hampshire. The place was beautifully decorated and felt as comfortable as home. I am a bedding snob and was pleasantly surprised to discover the luxurious and incredibly comfortable bedding. I also loved the variety of coffee pods and creamers to choose from. It made for a pleasant breakfast while gazing out at the amazing views from every window in the living area. My only regret is that I did not plan a longer stay. However, we will most definitely be back...for a much longer stay next time.

This was an excellent place to stay for a beautiful, quiet, and restful retreat. The panoramic views were amazing and one can view the Dixville Notch clearly. Amy and|Charlie were. friendly and so helpful. We so recommend this for your vacation getaway.

Amy & Charlie are THE MOST gracious hosts one could hope for! The “Bear Hollow” at the Bear Rock Suites was immaculate and smelled really nice. There’s also two queen beds (none that twin size bed nonsense here!)My son Chase (6’6)and I (6’2) just enjoyed one of the best guys weekends up here relaxing and out on the trails! Exceptional DIRECT snowmobile trail access to NH Corridor 18 ON their beautiful property, and despite being mid March,the snow was still nice and deep! A great variety of places to eat nearby, or use the kitchen. And as a dad, I like knowing that there’s a hospital less than 15 minutes away. As much as I would love to keep this little “gem” to myself. I’d be doing the whole world a disservice by not recommending them & Both of their super friendly Siberian huskies! This

Bear Rock Suites is deep in the heart of a quiet mountain town, Colebrook, in the Northern tip of New Hampshire. Bring your passport, and you can drive half an hour to visit Canada for the day! This country chic lodge is a picture postcard of rural New England, surrounded by beautiful mountains, and only a quick drive to a petite park with a wicked waterfall that belongs in a vacation video. One drawback, for some, is the cold weather. It actually snows here in April and May. But, if you love to snowmobile, ATV and/or dirtbike, Colebrook may have the longest season in the country. Perhaps there only thing that is NOT "picturesque" is the road that runs right through the center of Colebrook. It is a main highway frequented by 18 wheelers hauling goods across the country. Just fabulous! Amy was a welcoming host. She has small apartments available that are beautifully decorated in North Woods style. Snacks, tea, and water provided but you can also bring food in to eat. She has all utensils, plates, cups, and mugs. BBQ grill too on the outside patio. Completely comfortable with lovely linens. Excellent water pressure in the shower. We truly felt as if we were at home for the evening. Bonus, the cutest and most well behaved dogs. We can't wait to rebook for the winter and bring family. Excellent views too.
