Beach Cottage

What an amazing hidden gem! We started our Hawai’i vacation here before meeting up with a larger crew, and I am thrilled at what a great time we had at this cottage. The location for that rate just can’t be beat. We essentially had our own private beach for the kids to enjoy, a full kitchen, and two bedrooms. There were certain elements that could be improved and updated, and with the proximity to the airfield there were times when we heard loud flights, but I would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Stayed in the seabea cottage for an hour before leaving. It smells musty and old to the point it’s unbearable, the AC vents have mold and dirt on them. All the side windows were cloudy and dirty. After walking around in the house I noticed our feet were black from dirt, not clean at all. The railings and bars on the balcony are not sturdy or safe for kids. All the appliances are missing parts, rusted, and outdated. The beds are old and uncomfortable. Needs a serious update, pitty because it is in a very nice private location.

You can’t beat the location of the cabin. Please know this feels like glamping. These cabins need a deep clean. I took a towel and wiped down alot- it was gross. There were alot of bugs but maintenance came out quick and left us bug spray. We had to ask for extra pillows and towel but it was a continuous thing so we just gave up after a couple days. The porch is very nice. You will need beach towels. Attached a pic of the map so if you can request a cabin. The one we were at had access to a cove where we could snorkel. It was gorgeous. Oh the drive way to the cabins is horrible!!! Beware. They need to do some work on the road to the cabin.

We stayed at the cottages late April 2017 the cottage was amazing a gorgeous beach just yards away from the cottage and tide pools and coral reefs just outside the patio. Got to snorkel in the bay and swim with the turtles such an amazing experience. We also had the vice president mike pence stay right next door that was a little crazy but he only stayed for one day. A week i will never forget thank you for the memories.

The cottages at Kaneohe Bay are the most amazing places to stay. Rustic cottages, plenty of room, fully furnished inside and outside are adorable. Spaced quite far away from each other with plenty of privacy.
