Bayshore Resort

This place is really nice! The pool area is gorgeous! Its right when you walk in with glass windows all the way around and a big fireplace in the lobby. There were lots of tables and chairs to sit at while watching the kids swim and they also have a nice sized hot tub. There's a small game room downstairs that had a bunch of claw machines and arcade games. Rooms were clean and cozy. Our room had a balcony that looked out into the bay with tons of ducks. It was January so we couldnt use the beach but it would be amazing to go back in the summer and enjoy it! The hotel is right on the main road and close to tons of cool restaurants and shopping. Oh and Bayshore Resort was significantly cheaper than other hotels near by!

Positive: Decent location. Negative: Airport shuttle not available early in AM. Outdated, value was terrible for price paid. Small shower, odd bath amenities. Much nicer hotels in area for same price

Very dated hotel, our first room smelt like mold/mildew so we requested to change rooms. Next room on a different floor and opposite side of the hotel smelt the same. Had allergies the entire 2-night stay. We wish we had booked refundable so we could leave. Go down the street or more into town to get value for your money. We will be back to traverse city, but not at this hotel!!!! View is pretty, but you can walk to the beach for free, no need to stay here and pay for to be on the beach. Staff was uninterested in the guests, very little contact and engagement from them.

Absolutely loved this hotel. The off season pricing is great, the rooms were clean and up to date with modern features like flat tvs, comfortable beds, etc while not keeping the at-home feeling in the decor. Reminded me of vacations as a kid where hotels felt more welcoming as opposed to hotels of today that are sterile and depressing. Will absolutely come here again. The front desk staff and the shuttle driver were also so very nice, professional, and seemed like they actually enjoyed being there. Thanks for a great stay!

Room/hotel was SUPER clean! Staff was fantastic. Offered transportation to the downtown area. Perfect winter get away!! So much to do in the area even though it is not in season
