Baymont by Wyndham Tallahassee

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff was warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. Check-in was smooth and quick, and my room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable. I also noticed that many of the rooms have been recently renovated, which made the space feel fresh and modern. Overall, a wonderful experience and I would happily stay here again!

After reading the mixed reviews, we decided to call ahead to make sure a room was available. When we arrived, we asked to see the room before booking — and we were pleasantly surprised. Everything looked freshly painted, inside and out. The gentleman at the front desk was very nice and helpful, which made check-in easy. The room was quiet, the air conditioning worked great, and the TV was nice. The only real issue was that there was no hot water in Room 138, which was definitely a big disappointment. One other thing to note: breakfast didn’t include any hot items. They offered packaged oatmeal, yogurt, bagels, muffins, and a few juices. At $60 a night, it was still a good choice, and I would stay again — hopefully next time with hot water.

Positive: Location Negative: Mold smells and bath was not acceptable, not clean and too Old!!!!

I enjoyed my stay but only down sides to staying there is the floor are not clean (I had to mop the floor and clean the shower/toilet area myself), walls are super thin I could hear the rooms next to me and their funny time (I'm sure they could here my fun time as well), water pressure in the shower and super small bathroom area. I always take your own sheets, pillows, bed covers to sleep on bed. The location was outstanding, had a smoking room (super nice).

2.5 to 3 stars, it’s a decent hotel if you’re only staying for a night or two maximum. i had to book a hotel due to a personal emergency so i only went here to sleep for one night and left the morning after. the guy at the front desk was very patient and helpful! the room itself was kind of old and musty, especially the AC unit and bathroom, but everything worked fine. i was kind of concerned for my safety as a young female traveling alone, and the weird noises coming from outside and the door not closing fully didn’t help my case tbh.. pic included. ik it’s blurry but i was trying to fall asleep when i noticed the door was cracked open permanently. thankfully it could lock fully! but still kind of a scary hotel to stay at !!
