Baymont by Wyndham Ridgeland I-95

I chose this location because it was near Camping World. After driving 11 hours I arrived late at night. I had reserved the room several days in advance. My first red flag should have been there were only several cars parked at 1030 pm in the lot. I will say this is by far the most poorly maintained and unsanitary hotel i have ever seen.|I will simply list my finding with photos and videos.|Live roaches on the walls and floor. 2 live ticks on the bathroom wall. A used makeup cotton ball under the sheets of the supposedly newly made up bed. Nightstand had cigarette burns, air conditioning was extremely noisy making sleep difficult until I shut it off. Bathroom sink stained and severely cracked. Bathroom towels smelled musty.

Positive: "" Negative: There was mold in the bathroom. The bed frame made a horribly loud metallic noise when one moved and got out of the bed. The shower was weak.

First thought was that the room was good. It's clean and not falling down around us.|Then.....|Discovered the floor needs a good scrubbing. I do appreciate it wasn't carpet.|Shower was fine, went to dry my hair and the plug is open to where you can see the wiring. Dryer wouldn't turn on. We asked for a new hair dryer but they didn't have one. Suddenly had a big flash and sparks, cord blew out of the outlet and we lost power to the entire room.|The real kicker was when we went to breakfast and the coffee ran out. I told the lady and she asked me if both pots are out. I explained I didn't want decaf, she said they are both regular! WHAT?!?!?! UNACCEPTABLE!|My husband cannot have regular coffee and here he had been drinking regular coffee thinking it was decaf. |What about others that can't

Clean, simple, quiet, comfortable bed, good water pressure in the shower, at a good price. Bring your own shampoo. At breakfast they had fresh starfruit! I will make this our future stopover point on the Miami-Washington DC run.

I booked this hotel for one night, expecting to stay here with my two kids while we move into our new home. When I booked the hotel room, I did it online because I figured I would get a discount. I booked the room for 63$. I was so happy. Next thing you know, I arrive there to check in and the lady upfront tells me because I live in South Carolina, I have to pay an extra 40$. I was devastated. As a single mom, why not tell me this when I booked the room? One night at this hotel for 90$ that is not even that nice? I cried. I used my last 40$ on this place. AFTER, being scammed and told the owner would tell me the same thing. I don’t blame the lady who worked up front because she told me several times, it’s the owner who makes these rules. I understand maybe some locals mess the rooms up,
