Baymont by Wyndham Port Arthur/Groves Area

I had such a wonderful experience at Baymont Hotel, and I have to personally recognize Sonu for making it truly special. From the moment I walked in, he greeted me with genuine kindness and respect. He even offered warm chocolate chip cookies, which may seem small, but it made such a big difference after a long day. What really stood out wasn’t just the cookies — it was the feeling. Sonu made me feel like I wasn’t just checking into a hotel, but like I was being welcomed into someone’s home. That warm, down-home hospitality from a perfect stranger is rare these days, and it meant a lot. He was professional, polite, and truly went above and beyond to create a comfortable atmosphere. Staff was attentive and nice. Rooms and pool were clean. Rooms quite no highway or outside noise. The hot water never ran out and their were 5 of us who showered back to back. The room got cool and stayed cool, blankets were thick and warm. Breakfast had great options and staff did a good job keeping it stocked and clean!

Positive: Plenty of parking for large vehicles Negative: A bit pricey for the area

Our stay has been amazing here. Everyone here has been extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are very very clean and smell nice. The beds are so comfortable. But my favorite part would have to be their breakfast. 10/10. Shout out to Sonu (i hope i spelled his name right) he was extremely kind and helpful to us and we are extremely grateful!!!

My first experience with the Baymont Port Arthur/ Groves was February 18th - 20th. I came down to visit my daughter who is attending college. I must admit I was very impressed with the Baymont. The staff was incredible. Sonu checked me in. He was kind, friendly and efficient. He offered us an inside room near the front desk.He checked with me immediately to make sure I was happy with the room accommodations. He said, if I wasn't, he'd be happy to move me to another room. The room was great. It had a nice, comfyking size bed with all of the regular amenities including a free breakfast. The tub was clean and white as snow. I did have difficulty operating the television but, once reported, Alicia, who had only been on the job for two days quickly responded and figured out the problem. The O
