Baymont by Wyndham Lumberton

I will recognize the man at the front desk when I first got there. Hotel said it was pet friendly. ||In the morning, I was caring for my parents and two dogs due to having to roadtrip last minute due to a family emergency. The house keeping was hovering around while I was slowly taking things to the car. Check out wasn’t for about 2 1/2 hours. They asked me if we were leaving bc house keeping was there to clean, rushing us pretty much out of our room. Then when I went back in to double check nothing was left, the man was pointing to the bed saying this was bad and we weren’t good. All bc of a little bit of dog hair on the bed. I stated, this is a dog friendly hotel, and what was the reason in him being so rude. And then he continued to say this was very bad. When I say it was like 2 small

Positive: Coffee on the way out Negative: 1.cockroach infestation (SEVERE)2. USED bar of bathroom on the sink 3. No soap or shampoo provided in suite or at the front desk4. Filthy floors. Hair dryer was missing. The light kept turning off. TV wouldn't connect to the wifi. Tweekers EVERYWHERE.

I had just driven straight from Pinellas County Florida to Lumberton, North Carolina and they were just about to start roadwork on the interstate so I pulled off and figured it would be a good idea to get a night sleep. Things can be deceiving at night when you’re tired and I can tell you this much, they need a new maid and they need an exterminator. My sink was stuck in the downspout position so I couldn’t drain water out of the sink and it was loaded and when I mean loaded, I mean a minimum of about 30 fruit flies, crawling around the sink so I turned the boiling water on. They started flying all over the place. I eventually killed most of them, and I had to cover the sink with a towel. There was water damage underneath the sink on the floorboards, which allowed them to buff up underneat

Wasn’t a bad stay, for the price. The people walking around outside were a little sketchy looking, but I try not to base it on looks alone. The room was small but pretty clean. Probably could use some updating, paint, etc…Bathroom was quite small. Towels were small and only 2 in bathroom although we had a reservation for 3. Beds were comfy. Took a few min to get tv working and a limited number of channels like maybe 8-10. Overall wasn’t terrible. Breakfast offered was toast, waffles, cereal , milk and Sunny D.

Stopped to stay at this hotel on a drive back from Florida. Charged us $100 despite listing online showing lower rate but it was late so we accepted this The first room they put us in was smoking room with a door knob that had a piece falling off of it. My boyfriend went to request another room and they did promptly move us to a non smoking room. However, the door for that room would not properly close, leaving a gap between it and the wall where cold air was coming through We then found a giant roach on the floor by the bed. By this point, I felt unsafe and disgusted so we requested a refund which they denied despite barely 20 minutes having passed since we booked the room. The Rodeway inn across the street was $30 less with much nicer staff and a much cleaner room so stay away from
