Baymont by Wyndham Fort Stockton

The hotel was very good for the price. We have stayed at other hotels for this price and they were bad in very aspects. But this Baymont had nice rooms and property, it looked renewed. The most important before considering a hotel is that the sheets and bathrooms are clean. They had a fitness room that we used. Breakfast is continental, very basic.

Curtains were not real clean and did not fully close. Room was really nice and clean. Bed was very good. Towels and sheets were exceptionally clean. Recently updated room with updated tile floors freshly painted. Breakfast was simple but adequate, just fine for us. No highway noise. Noise from adjacent rooms could be annoying, but our neighbors were very quiet and we tried to be quiet too.

Positive: Location Negative: There were a lot of flies and bugs flying in the room There was no toilet paper on the roller. It looked like the room had not been properly cleaned. There was major amounts of dust on the back of the TV and on the windowsill with dead flies and bugs.

I stay here several nights a month for work. It’s extremely quiet and has great parking, and many of the rooms have full-sized fridges in them! I would recommend bringing some cleaning supplies and giving your room a once-over before settling in, but it’s not strictly necessary. Most of the guests seem to be oilfield or construction workers. If you’re just looking for a place to sleep and get a hot shower, this motel is perfect.

The room was extremely clean, spacious, and comfortable. Full size fridge, microwave. Nice bathtub and shower. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was included which was the usual fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt and waffles. There was peanut butter and jelly to make ake a sandwich. Will stay here again.
