Baymont by Wyndham Festus

Stayed here for the weekend.... Would have been nice if they fixed the heater in our room. (Isn't that something they should be ensuring is working before they book that room?) Then they didn't even offer us any money back SMH. I should have taken a pics, but the side door they had us go in was absolutely gross. Bottle of liquor just sitting there in the corner.... Walk in the door, dirty and disgusting 😑 Go up the flight of steps and in the corner is cigarette butts and what looks like a place some guy has been pissing. 🤢 Go through the door and slams shut super hard, SUPER LOUD! Guess where our room is? Right next to it! Smh. Anyways I would have left a good review if they would have offered us some $$$ back since there was no damn heat. Rant over! Hope your stay is better!!!

Positive: NOTHING! It was DISGUSTING. There was human urine and feces on the floors and walls, stains on every surface. I would NEVER let my family stay in a place like this!!! When we complained to the front desk after check-in, they refused a full refund! Negative: Everything. It was DISGUSTING!!! Beware, do not bring your family here!!!

They were very nice at the front desk but the room was run down, the security lock was broken off. The bed was very comfortable but I wouldn't stay here again unless I absolutely had too. Being a Baymont I expected more.

Disappointing Stay – Would Strongly Advise Against BookingI traveled to Festus for a car show and needed a budget-friendly hotel near local amenities. While this property met that basic requirement, nearly every other aspect of my stay was a disappointment—and at times, unacceptable.To start, the hotel was unbearably hot inside. There was no functioning indoor air conditioning, and the common areas remained well above 80 degrees throughout my stay. Check-in was quick, but the front desk staff seemed unfamiliar with the facility—unable to even direct me to the pool, which I never located due to the complete lack of signage.The complimentary breakfast was, frankly, insulting. Recently remodeled property. Staff were friendly and helpful. My room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely be stay again.
