Baymont by Wyndham Cuero

The staff was nice. That's a really low bar of expectation for a hospitality service, but that's the only nice thing I can say for this hotel. To start with, this is not a hole in the wall, off the beaten path hotel. It's on a busy roadway between I35 and Houston. The parking lot was full. Lots of guests. When you drive up to the hotel, the landscaping is bad. The windows in the lobby have a film on them. When you enter the lobby, the entry rug has an 18" long tear across the logo. This is the part where the staff is nice. Once I checked in, I was given a two keys total. I had two rooms. I thought that I should have more keys but we were going to a wedding and only had a short time to get ready so I didn't question it. I was told that I should drive down to the end of the building and us

Positive: The room was very clean the bed was comfortable. Negative: The walls were extremely thin and the parking lot, had a lot of debris.

The staff was welcoming and met all our needs. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable. We traveled as a family booking multiple rooms. All members enjoyed the stay and slept well. We have annual reunions in Cuero and have stayed at several hotels in this city. Moving forward we will only stay at this location. ||

One of the beds had hair, dirt, and crumbs so obviously they just remade the bed without changing the bedding. Now my infant has rashes/skin irritation all over his body after staying. Food was left on the floor so it wasn't even vacuumed. Lord knows they didn't change out the towels either. The breakfast was okay.

I must say I overall enjoyed my stay. The young lady that checked us in was very nice and welcoming. The room was very clean there was a bug in there 😳 i had to kill but I can't say it was due to the room being unclean. If I have any complaint it would be the bed was okay but not comfortable and the water for showering was warm not very hot. We will definitely stay again I will say 😊
