Baymont by Wyndham Abilene

WARNING: Unsanitary room and bugs. We checked into Baymont by Wyndham Abilene expecting a clean and safe place to stay, especially since the cost was just under $200 for one adult and one child. Unfortunately, the condition of the room was unacceptable. The bathtub was visibly dirty and looked like it had not been properly cleaned. The sink and counter had debris and grime, and there were multiple poorly patched holes in the walls that made the room feel neglected and poorly maintained. Most concerning, we also observed bugs in the room, which made the situation feel unsanitary and unsafe. We brought these concerns to the front desk immediately. You get what you pay for. We got to our room. The deadbolt did not lock properly, and the floor needed to be scraped and mopped and the toilet was dirty. We still decided to try another room. Same deadbolt issue and this time there was roaches in the bathroom. So many sketchy people here, I would never stay with my family here. Thank God we found a room at another hotel which was infinitely better. Read the reviews and find a better place to stay. I will say we did get a refund and the young man at the front desk said he understood our concerns and made sure we got a full refund. Only positive thing I can say. The reviews speak for themselves because the same issues are mentioned over and over again in the reviews.

Positive: Location Negative: Yes, the hotel room was not clean, stains on sheets, hair in towels and all over the bathroom. We even found boogers on the wall. Dirty floors. We also discovered a review of the hotel which had pictures of our room and the same issues from 2 months ago.

Terrible experience. Trash everywhere, blatant drug use on-site (in front of my room), loud music all night, and a filthy room overall (pubic hair on bathroom walls, stained pillows, broken light switches). It is glaringly obvious basic maintenance/cleaning has been ignored. We left the property not long after checking in. I asked (via email) for a full refund since I didn't stay the night, was offered only 50% back (via one single email), and then still got charged the full amount a week later. The manager never returned my calls or follow up emails, and corporate kept me on the phone 45 minutes only to tell me to "try the manager again."|I am still trying daily (going on two weeks) to contact the manager or anyone at all at the hotel. Dishonest and unacceptable - avoid this hotel.

Absolute the worst of the worst. Checked in at 3:56 and checked out at 4:00. Walked into the room and could immediately tell that it would not be clean. Found a few little friend running around (Roaches). Spider Webs everywhere. Pubic hair on sheets and on bathroom wall. Moldy smell. Parking lot very unsafe, dirty and sketchy.
