Bay View Resort Myrtle Beach

If you're traveling with family and you necessarily don't want to be in the hustle and bustle of everything this is the perfect hotel to be at. Within walking distance to all the shops Family Kingdom and the boardwalk. Great access to the beach. The furniture in the rooms could definitely use an update.

The location was perfect for the New Years Eve celebration we were looking for. We had a great view of fireworks from the 2nd ave pier from our balcony! The boardwalk right out front is so convenient and beautiful during our visit with the Christmas lights and music! Our room was clean, smelled nice, and the balcony was big and clean as well! The bed could have used an upgrade was a bit “lumpy”. But not worth complaining about. Restaurants around hotel were pretty good. We never got the chance to try Starbucks on location. But good to have! Also the fire pit was beautiful and warm!! Overall we loved this hotel, and we’ll be back!

We traveled here for a funeral. We decided to stay afterwards for a couple of days to recover. The beds were very comfortable, the 8 plump pillows on both beds was a nice touch. The room service and cleaning was exceptional , everyone was pleasant and friendly. The 2 hot tubs were large ,roomy and clean. The outdoor lap pool was nice, slightly warmed for the 60s temp outside. The indoor pool was nice and large and the slightly warmed indoor lazy river with tubes was a hit. The giant checkers and chess games inside were a nice touch too. Breakfast restaurants ,icecream/funnel shops and Pizza, gyro, calsone, Greek desert restaurant were just across the street and open late.we thoroughly enjoyed our oceanfront balcony view. We kept our door open and slept to the sound of the ocean waves....

Positive: The location was nice Negative: We actually didn’t have a problem with the condo that we rented only at the bathroom was in the bedroom other than that everything was nice. I think they need to upgrade their lamps in the living room area because there was a little rusted.

We needed a quick one night stay and are not familiar with Myrtle Beach. The photos looked nice, the reviews were positive for the past 8-12 months, so we took a chance. The staff was friendly, the pools looked nice - though we didn't have time to use them. But the elevators sounded like they were gasping their last breath. The room smelled of cat urine, and the mattress was broken down, with little to no support on one side. The water pressure was lacking in the shower and the paint on the ceiling was peeling. The fridge looked like it had taken a few beatings, but worked well. We didn't dare make coffee in the room, but enjoyed the Starbucks on site. The balcony view was fabulous and the balcony itself was clean, had seating available and had a sturdy railing. We don't plan to
