Bavarian Inn Lodge Eureka Springs

My partner and I came here for our anniversary. It was our first time in Eureka Springs and we were just blown away by the kindness and amazing service of the staff at the Bavarian Inn. Ellen checked us in with a warm smile and kindness that is hard to come across these days. The location was fantastic and close to everything. Our room was HUGE and very clean (honestly probably one of the cleanest places we have stayed). The whole place had a cozy feel to it and the nights were very quiet and peaceful. We loved the huge back porch and enormous jacuzzi! Upon check out we met the owner, we had talked for over an hour. She was such an interesting and kind lady and she treated us like we were her family, even though we had just met. You can truly tell that she puts a lot of care into making

My wife and I choose to stay here for two nights so that we would be close to the area attractions. The main reason we chose to stay was due to our wanting to try the German food at their restaurant. After seeing their web page, we booked a two-night stay. Upon arrival we met their charming desk clerk. She was very helpful and pleasant. Our room was clean and very roomy. The outdoor pool was nice and open 24 hours. The restaurant we were looking forward too was closed and for sale. It had not been open all summer due to no staff. Had we known that we would have stayed somewhere else. The website did not state that it was closed. We had to dig through several pages to find a statement that it was not open at that time. Very misleading. We won't be going back.

Our stay was marked with excellent service, well kept , spacious, and very clean rooms. The rooms are charming, and make you feel you are staying at grandmas house. The view from the back patio was lovely and the location is very close to downtown making it easy to get to all the activities.

For a 3 star rating it really left a lot to be desired. Staff leaves at 5 so hope you don’t need anything, the restaurant closed down so no food, the only vending machine was for drinks, the pool was EXTREMELY dirty and run down. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a week. The jacuzzi tub was nice but the light is behind a wall by the sink so it was kinda dark. The balcony looking at trees was nice but with the ac running you can’t talk. The fridge in the room did not keep out food cold overnight so had to throw away the remaining pizza.

The quaint room was very clean with everything in working order. The pool water was sparkling clean and the pool deck has shaded or sunny areas. We enjoyed watching the deer and other wildlife from our patio. It was a pleasant place to stay in the middle of the week during the summer for a couple of nights.
