Basin RV Resort - Bastrop

The park is very convenient to town and Route 71. Christine was wonderful. She gave us good directions (very easy to miss) and the park is spotless! The river goes by the back of the park and is peaceful. One big negative…the park is located directly next to Route 71 and is extremely noisy. We were there for one night so it was fine for a stop along the way. Just be aware the traffic is deafening with windows/door open. Bastrop is a great little historic town to visit!

In fact, this KOA was part of the reason we came back to Bastrop for a longer stay. Elizabeth and Darrell couldn't be any friendlier and more welcoming. They keep the campground nice and in good repair, and are ready to help with anything you might need.||||First, the bath houses: they are large with a ton of spacious showers. Very clean and well stocked. I have no doubt they get a 10* on Good Sam.||||The sites range from small to enormous, depending on your needs. Everything worked just fine and the wifi was strong even at the other end of the park. This campground is right on the Colorado River and they have a walking path and playground set up so you can walk right down and enjoy. This campsite is overall great! The guests and campground was nice and quiet. Though, it is located close to the highway so there was some road noise at night. We had our fan blowing in the RV and hardly noticed. The staff is so helpful and was also wonderful.

Basin RV is a very warm and welcoming place to live. Kristina, Mark and Wendy are a wonderful and sincere staff. A family situation required us to leave and temporarily stay at another rv park. They were no Basin RV! Luckily when we were able to return, there was a spot for us. Glad to be home and the welcome back was heartfelt.

Basin RV Resort is a fantastic park! It is right on the river with a very nice park for families, a dog park, rec room, laundry, bathroom facilities with wonderful showers. The staff is fantastic and very kind and responsive.
