Balmorhea RV Park

This park looked abandoned. Overgrown by weeds. Some utility boxes looked run over. Had read positive reviews so went out of our way to stay and left immediately. Did not look or feel safe in any way.

I arrived late in the afternoon, and the owner came out to meet me. She told me to take any slot I'd like as there was only one other visitor. I pulled into the far end slot, and as I'm aligning my sewage line up, a hidden piece or rebar buried unmarked, pierced my ac condenser. Nbd things happen. I was able to get a mechanic to assess the issue and was pleased to know it wasn't my radiator. When I left at about 10 am the next day I received a text from the owner saying I'd forgotten to pay her for another night.. I was only there another night because rebar buried and unmarked blew my condenser. All and all I'd say it's a nice park and conveniently located not far from the interstate. But don't expect any sympathy from the owners.

How are you supposed to make reservations of this place when they don't have a phone number or a website?
