B Ocean Resort Fort Lauderdale Beach

For the price of this hotel, the disappointment was shocking. Stayed here because it was a rendezvous point for a cruise. We did not use the beach or any “resort” amenities. Our room was so freezing cold that they brought up TWO space heaters (which then blew the room’s electricity) plus more blankets. They could not get the room warmer than 59 degrees! Staff said they knew the HVAC system was poor and apologized. The plugs were loose in the walls, the coffee maker did not work, the toilet was loose on the floor and the towels were much thinner than they should be at this price point. The hotel just feels dated and very tired. To their credit, all of the staff were delightfully pleasant and accommodating, but they just have a tough property to work with. I would stay elsewhere next time

Rooms: ok, nothing special, the shower didn’t have a door which lets water spill all over the floor. So you have to use your bath towels to clean up the puddles, then hard to get them to deliver more towels. There were dead gnats on the ceiling and looks like the wall by the toilet hadn’t been cleaned. The house keeper came 1 day, when we came back to our room, coffee was spilled in the entry way by the cleaning person. We didn’t even had coffee in our garbage cans. My guess is the trash bag they were carry around groom room to room was leaking but no one cleaned it up. We called several times for this to be handled which it never was. No microwave in room, unable to warm up any left overs taken back from previous meals. Food/service: Applebees quality food at luxury prices. Service is ex

B Ocean Resort was a great location for our couples’ week away. We loved the beach, the pool, and how walkable everything was—easy access to the marina and several fun stops along the route. Our room itself was pretty typical for a hotel. The shower was mostly cold with low water pressure, but honestly, the amenities made up for it. Between the beach, food, and drinks, we spent most of our time outside enjoying the property rather than in the room. The staff was kind and helpful throughout our stay, which made a big difference. Overall, we had a great time and were happy with our stay—especially for a spot we discovered on TikTok.

Positive: Location…. easy access to beach and strip. The staff was very accommodating when we extended stay and let us remain in same room Negative: Housekeeping could have been more consistent. Did not receive fresh towels or toilet paper consistently. Coffee maker was broken but could not get ahold of housekeeping or front desk to replace.

Julia and Carlton are incredible!! Their customer service is unmatched and so welcoming. We arrived early to our reservation and they quickly accommodated us with an available room, let us know everything we can take advantage of at the resort & made us feel right at home!
