avid hotel Traverse City by IHG

We stayed here for 3 nights midweek in late July. This is a very nice, newer, clean hotel in the East Traverse Bay area right on Route 31. Check-in was smooth, no issues and they accommodated our request for a room in the back of the hotel to be away from any road noise in the front. Breakfast was more than ample with many choices including yogurt, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, breads, juice, some hot eggs, and sausage/bacon. It took us about 10 minutes to drive into the downtown Traverse Bay area. They have a small pool (no hot tub) and a workout room. ||This is a great place to stay if you want a reasonably priced, modern hotel with a basic breakfast. The rooms have beds, a small desk/chair, and mini-fridge. There are no additional tables, chairs, sofas, etc. in the room, but there are a coupl

Nice hotel, good value for the price. It’s a convenient location and check in was very friendly and fast. My favorite part was the coffee in the lobby, that machine is magical. The complimentary breakfast had a nice variety. The only thing I didn’t love were the strong artificial scents in the lobby and hallway.

The simplicity of the room with no carpet, no coffee service or closet. The room was clean, the heating quiet and the lighting perfect. The only thing was that the lights in the bathroom were on one switch and it was so bright! Separate switches so that a soft light for night use. Enjoyed the 24 /7 coffee and water service in the main lobby. We will stay in another if it is available in the city we are staying.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was spotless and very well maintained. The hotel lobby had an elegant scent that made a great first impression. The front desk staff were extremely kind and accommodating with all our requests. The bed was so comfortable—we slept like a dream. Highly recommend this hotel!

We were very pleased with our stay. The hotel is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are minimalist and a little small, but our bed was comfortable and everything we needed was available. Breakfast was quite good, hot food every morning plus a nice assortment of bagels, muffins, bread, and cereal. Excellent coffee and tea were available 24/7. The hotel is conveniently located and near several excellent restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
