Auberge Clarksdale Hostel

We enjoyed our first visit at the Hostel in Clarksdale, as we travel through many times on hunting trips in the Delta. The owners are great folks, super friendly, and accommodating. The rooms and bathrooms were very clean! Super impressed with that. A few things did throw me off a little. The beds came with a mattress cover, sheet and comforter, but you had to put the sheet on yourself. That was a first. Also, they do have live music downstairs, which got pretty loud. I expected the crowd and didn’t want to impose, but it may be good to post to y’all’s website for fellow guests, that music on weekends is an expected thing. I didn't know that was going to happen, until it did. The owners did accommodate by cutting the speaker off that was right outside our bedroom. I appreciated that. Overa

Clarksdale doesn’t have a massive choice of accommodation but we were glad we chose this place. There were 4 of us so we purchased all 6 beds in Room 1 which did not break the bank. There was a live band on in the hostel in the night we stopped but we went out to the Ground Zero club. There is a full kitchen that can be used by guests (we made toast and coffee the next morning). Our beds were bunks but very comfortable, Shower room was clean as was the whole place. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Hostel used to be Madidi a restaurant owned by the actor Morgan Freeman (who co-owns the Ground Zero Blues). Would stop again

We love Clarksdale! We've stayed at Delta Digs and Hooker Hotel so far and they're both amazing

Had an amazing stay at Hostel Auberge. The owner, Lucy, was super friendly and had great advice for where to see live music. The hostel itself was gorgeous and we had a really comfortable stay. Would recommend to anyone! Thanks for the great stay - Murray and Laura

Great vibe, great location, reasonable price, clean, community bathroo.s were very clean and accessible, close to all rooms. Dowstairs was a gathering area with community kitchen for all to use and save money 💰
