Atlantic Motel

This place is exactly what is advertised, nothing more, nothing less. The room was clean, the front desk ladies were very nice to us, and it is located about 2 minutes away from the beach and a really fantastic coffee shop. 2 minor complaints: there was a centipede in my bed which was promptly dispatched. (The room probably had not been used in a while and it was only 1) and the shower curtain is too small. Again, minor, minor complaints. Overall, a great experience for the price.

If the musty smell of old smoke doesn’t bother you, then by all means stay here. I’ve been out of there for over 24 hours and I’m still fighting the effects of sleeping in a room that smelled like old cigarette smoke. The signs all say no smoking so I don’t understand how it smells so bad inside. The room was clean, although a typical beach motel with no amenities. The office doesn’t open until 9:30am, so I had no way to get ice for the day. You have to get a blow dryer at the front desk. They could definitely use some new towels and pillows. It is in a pretty great location, and the rates were reasonable. But the smoke smell for us really made this a terrible visit.

We have stayed here over 11 times thru 2024 and 2025. EVERY TIME a different room that was so wonderful! The Atlantic Seafood Company constantly remodels and upgrades and WE ARE NEVER DISAPPOINTED! Each room is different and decorated with a beach theme. Sometimes you get a tub and sometimes a shower… who cares? The location next to the restaurant and across from the boats delivering fresh seafood and trucking it out, is both beautiful and exciting! The staff are great! We’d truly recommend this little gem! It’s a two story motel… no elevators, no coffee pot (we bring our own) and close to fishing trips (Dauntless recommended), good restaurants (recommend Spikes and shore fresh) along with their own restaurant! Just so ideal and wonderful! You can walk to many restaurants! Love it!

The place wasn't bad at all but there were two things I had issues. First, the bed wasn't as clean as I thought. Just you can when it's washed and clean. Two, the people above us in the middle of the night around 12midnight to 1am they were slamming doors in and out and yelling they were loud and might be fighting when everyone are sleeping just no decency at those time of hours when people have to get some sleep..other than that location wasn't so bad still a little walking distance to the shore if you're ip to walking maybe 10 mind or so.
