Aspen Cove Resort

The service is flat outstanding. Very friendly and welcoming. Felt like coming home. Jim and Kendra (sorry if I mispell name) were very friendly upon arriving. We stayed in a comfortable room that was clean and had all the basics you needed. The next day they actually moved us to a another room with a room of the lake which was phenomenal to see the deer and geese chilling on the shore. Lorraine was phenomenal housekeeper who was very friendly and actually left a small toy fish in the room for our five year old daughter. That was the only fish we caught for the whole trip. We rented a boat to go out for the afternoon but due to wind we had to cut it short. Jim was very understanding about that and even offered the next day if was available we could use it again for the a little while. Sad

My husband and I hosted a family reunion and rented out the entire lodge. It was fantastic! The rooms were clean, the industrial kitchen made meal prep and serving so easy. The large group area inside held us all comfortably. We loved the pool tables and the soda fountain, too.

Not sure why my original post was deleted and not responded to. I am very disappointed. We booked the Lakeview Cabin in early June for mid July dates. On July 3rd I received an email stating that our reservation would no longer be honored due to the Resort being temporarily closed. I question that as there was a post following that week indicating that there was a family reunion held at the entire resort. So it appears that our reservation was cancelled to accommodate a full house for more money. Not a great way to run a business.

My husband and I drove up to Panguitch Lake to celebrate our anniversary. We had seen Aspen Cove Resort online so we knew to look for them. We drove past several other boat rental places to find them. They’re located on the opposite side of the lake from the other resorts and rental places. Totally worth the drive! If you think you’re lost driving out here- you’re not! Just keep driving around the lake and you’ll run right into it! The staff was so friendly and helpful. It had been a long time since either my husband or I had driven a boat and they took the time to show us everything. The boat was nice and clean and had great technology to help us find fish and even a mechanism to keep us from drifting if we found a spot we liked on the lake (sorry- forgot the technical term for it 😂) T

EDIT: I appreciate the response, but you didn't text back when asked, you didn't call back when called, you didn't email back when emailed, AND you didn't reply to the Facebook post on the page you're active on. Booked a boat on their website. Was told two weeks prior to my reservation date that the boat reservation would be cancelled and I would be refunded. Turns out these folks never reply via phone/text/email/Facebook post. I had to dispute this via my credit card company. The resort might be nice, but the ownership is horrendous. Try booking across the lake where you'll get much better service.
