I booked this Hotel through Airbnb. It was quaint and clean... HOWEVER.. The parking space that went with my unit was taken by another person all week. No cold water in the shower, both knobs labeled cold. Bathroom outlet did not work. Ceiling fan above the beds did not work. Window cranks were broken. Window blinds kept falling down. Kitchen sink sprayer did not work. Toaster was broken. No tissues, napkins, paper towels, paper plates or extra trash bags. The Host Sergio was not timely on responding to my messages. He did finally respond after the 4th day just to let me know that a realtor was showing the building and units to a potential buyer, but did not help with any of my issues.

The Aqua Mar Marina property is UNIQUE small and quiet, laid back atmosphere with convenient parking just out front. ||||We currently rent 1 of the 7 boat-slips located behind apartments at his location. My husband stays in our sailboat 2-3 weeks out of the month. I was just there for over a week in early October. I personally enjoyed the privacy and the fact that it was well kept and very quiet. Behind our dock/boat-slip is a private patio – it sits on the edge of the canal – where I settled with my laptop and spent the most relaxing time working, reading, watching boats and people come and go… enjoyed the tropical view. There are a couple of grills… perfect for healthy cooking and enjoying the outdoors.||I have no experience of room rentals. We stayed in our sail-boat, but had the

Stayed Monday to Monday. Great location!!!!! Was probably at one time a beauty but is tired now. Maintained but that’s all. For the 109 we spent a nite it was great ,clean room. Bring food and all essentials and you should be ok. If your picky and uppity don’t go here but if you’ll be here for sleep it’s great. Location is key. Try for room on ground floor. Pool is pretty but didn’t see a soul in it. Curious to see what if any updates are in store for this old girl. Would like to go back

I used to live on a boat behind the building so I have no experience of the hotel service first hand.||But there is no front desk or room sevice available, you are in reality renting a room- not a hotel room. The maintenance of the property is very poor, I had no lights by my dock even though I asked them to fix it several times. And the marina bathroom is in horrible condition, there are no towels, soap or toilet paper and the toilet it self is loose of the floor.||The pool and pooldeck need a facelift to be somewhat inviting.||The layout of the property is very nice and could be very attractive if it was better taken care of.

Broken air conditioning, blood on linens, strong smell of urine. Owner made limited attempt to rectify conditions. Stuck it out till cockroaches appeared then checked out.
