Beautiful sunrises from the pier. It’s off season so the snow birds are coming in. If you’re a resident here there are lots of things to do. Bingo, cornhole, socializing, fishing, driving your golf carts on the beach. The staff is very friendly and welcoming. I recommend this place for all!!!!
Overall our experience was good but there were some issues that others need to know and management should be ware of. Bob the maintenance man was great! He helped us with a minor cable TV issue, he was fast and friendly, that really made our day. The campground was clean and peaceful. Beach access was good and the pier was a nice amenity. We were disappointed in the close proximity of the sites. Our picnic table was literally 3 feet from our neighbors septic line, the campground store was not open although there were employees there, apparently doing nothing. Even though the campground was about 90% occupied and the pier snack bar was closed even though the pier was packed with fishermen and pier walkers all day. The ice cream shop was open sometimes, closed a lot but when it was open the
We love Apache!! I have been coming here since I was a kid & now I bring my kids here. The campground is very well maintained. The bathhouses are always clean. The staff are very helpful & nice. Perfect for anyone for any vacation. Very quiet and laid back.
Had a great week, EXCEPT for one thing. A few days in, the campground set up a camper for a couple coming in. They put it very close to our camper. I felt this was unnecessary and expressed my view to the worker. I was ignored. It was disappointing, but we still enjoyed our stay. We love the campground and have been coming here for years. Love the pier restaurant, Groupers. The bathrooms are clean enough, there’s a pool, store, and of course the beach! Everyone is very friendly, and the campground is clean and well kept. The location is fantastic. It’s right off restaurant row. There’s a Kroger, Walmart, and outlet mall within a mile. Close to North Myrtle and easy access to roads to South Myrtle and the rest of the Grand Strand. Prices are reasonable. We stayed a week for l
We had 2 sites with campers in September. Loved the cleanliness of the campground. Employees were very nice. Used the pool and splash pad along with the beach and pier. Had takeout from the restaurant for 11 people. Highly recommend the grouper bites. This was our second time there and will definitely be back.
